Manila Ocean park is constructed by Singaporean and Malaysian investors at Rizal Park back of Quirino Grandstand. It was officially opened in February 2008. Manila Ocean Park becomes one of the Philippine's tourists spot.
"Manila Ocean Park will showcase the rich marine resources of the Philippines , which along with Malaysia , Indonesia and the Pacific Islands form the Coral Triangle, considered as the world's center of marine biodiversity." said Lim the president of Manila Ocean Park.
The oceanarium has 20,000 different fish species. It is so nice to roam around there while watching the fishes live. It is like walking at the bottom of the ocean where you can go nearer to the swimming and crawling species on the sand. The amazing structure which imitates the true ocean's nature.
Manila Ocean Park also helps the sea water of the Manila Bay to be cleaned. The oceanarium gets water directly from the bay after filtering. The picture that you see is only one part of it which is already done. There are lots of phases to be built before this year ends.
