Olongapo City

Olongapo City
"Subic bay is well know as a great summer destination for the local tourist, its calm waters, cool breezes and wide range of water activities are accented by the lush jungles of the area. The City of Olongapo provides the anchor of support for the area, and includes the Subic Bay Freeport Zone and parts of the provinces of Zambales and Bataan. The City of Olongapo is the largest city of the Province of Zambales and is adjacent to the Subic Bay Freeport, portions of the city border on the Bay. Barrio Barretto is a part of Olongapo City and is the location of the majority of the city's beach front and hotels. The city has two beaches that it operates."

Canonoy Resort

"This is certainly A beautiful beach resort, I would recommend it if you are in the area. The duplex rooms rent for about P 1,200.00, or about $23.00 a day. They are large enough to fit four or five adults easily. The resort grounds are spacious and well kept, there are plenty of beach front teepee cottages located all along the beach front area. They will cater food to your teepee, pool area or rooms. This resort has a function room that seats 60 to 100 persons adequate for that business meeting or seminar. This beach is covered with plenty of soft light brown sand. Your feet won't mind walking in this sand as there are no rocks to speak of. This facility has security guards on duty throughout the day and night. I stayed here for three days and including my food and room cost me only about P 7,000.00 or about $132.00 and that was with nine people in our group part of which slept out on the beach teepees. I enjoyed my stay here and received a bad sunburn, maybe too much fun right?

Location: West coast of Negros Occidental, about forty five minutes, or fifty four kilometers south of Bacolod city."

San Remigio Beach Resort;Cebu

"This beach resort, has an excellent large fresh water pool which is fully lighted for that night swimming party. This resort was designed with beauty in mind, the architecture of the pool area is remarkable. There are plenty of pool side tables and chairs to accommodate its guests. There is a large parking area that will accommodate larger vehicles and busses. Your resort stay will be enhanced by the beautiful surroundings and many gardens on the property. This facility has plenty security guards on duty throughout the day and night.

Location: San Remigio, about fifteen minutes form the city of Bogo on the north west end of the island of Cebu in central Visayas."

BUSUANGA/ CORON

"On the northeastern part of Palawan is the Calamian group of islands whose main islands are Busuanga, Coron, and Culion. A collection of picturesque islands each with a white sand beach, the islands actually sit atop vast coral reefs. This is why the Calamians are favored by many divers for their underwater adventures. Travelers should also grab the opportunity to see the islands by boat. North of Busuanga is Calauit, the country's sanctuary for wild African animals and rare endemic Philippine animals such as the bearcat and mousedeer. To get to the Calamians, a plane can be taken from Manila to Busuanga. Short land transfers then take visitors to the destination of their choice."
